Laurie Borg
President, NexCycle Plastics Inc.

Laurie Borg joined NexCycle Canada as President in March 2008. NexCycle Plastics has a plastics recycling operation in Brampton, Ontario, focusing on recycling polyethylene and polypropylene resins. He is also responsible for NexCycle’s glass operations in Guelph, Ontario. Prior to joining NexCycle, Mr. Borg spent six years in the plastics industry as Chief Operating Officer for Canadian General Tower Limited, the largest manufacturer of automotive seating cover stock and swimming pool liners in North America. Previously he held a variety of senior positions with KPMG and Ernst & Young, specializing in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
