Lynne Manuel

Lynne Manuel has 35 years experience in product and process development and commercialization in the chemical industry in a range of technology, marketing, operations, and commercial roles. She graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Engineering Physics.

Lynne began her career as a Research Scientist at the DuPont Research and Development Centre in Kingston, Ontario, working on polymers product and process development.  After joining NOVA Chemicals in 1995, Lynne held a variety of roles in research, new technology commercialization, marketing, and business leadership. As VP Polyethylene, she was responsible for the SCLAIR® and High Density businesses and the early marketing plans for Advanced SCLAIRTECH™. As VP Technology for the global Polystyrene business, Lynne was responsible for the integration of technologies and assets in the US with acquisitions in Europe.

In 2001, Lynne returned to DuPont Canada until retirement in 2015. She held a variety of leadership roles including Research and Development Manager, VP Technology for DuPont Liquid Packaging, and Operations Manager for Kingston Site. Lynne has been an Independent Member on the GreenCentre Canada Board since June 2015.
