Dinesh Aluthge

Dr. Dinesh Aluthge graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2009 with a BSc (Honors) degree in chemistry. After a brief stint as an assistant lecturer in chemistry at the University of Colombo, he moved to Vancouver, where he completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Parisa Mehrkhodavandi at the University of British Columbia in 2014. During his PhD, he worked on developing chiral catalysts for cyclic ester polymerization. In 2015, he began a two-year postdoc at the California Institute of Technology with Prof. John E. Bercaw and Dr. Jay A. Labinger where he worked on developing supported catalysts for olefin oligomerization and polymerization. Dinesh joined the GreenCentre team in the fall of 2017.
