Dr. Hanieh (Hannah) Nassiri (Ph.D.) graduated from University of Tehran with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 2006. Her research focus was synthesis of titania nanoparticles by sol-gel method. In 2010, she completed her MSc in Polymer Engineering at Iran Polymer & Petrochemical Institute where she focused on the kinetic study of propylene polymerization with Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Hannah then went on to work at the Petrochemical Research & Technology Co. researching in-reactor stabilization of polypropylene with different antioxidants. After 2 years she moved to Edmonton, where she completed her PhD in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Natalia Semagina and Dr. Robert Hayes at the University of Alberta in March 2018. During her PhD, she worked on the enhancement of palladium activity in wet-lean methane combustion. Hannah joined the GreenCentre Canada technical team in August 2018.
